Supercharged Entertainment Breaks Ground on Massive Columbus Karting Hub

The new Polaris location mirrors the company’s successful Edison, New Jersey venue, aiming to anchor the local retail and leisure district alongside existing attractions like Topgolf and Smash Park. At the core of the project is an 80,000-square-foot, climate-controlled track featuring 25 elevation changes, designed to accommodate both individual racing and a combined "Supertrack" configuration. The facility will rely on an all-electric kart fleet to eliminate emissions while providing high-torque acceleration.

Beyond the track, the developers are incorporating a diverse entertainment ecosystem into the massive footprint. Plans include a two-story arcade housing nearly 180 games, virtual reality stations, and the "Drop & Twist Tower" that spans the building's height. Company President Stephen Sangermano and CEO Sandra Sangermano highlighted the project as a milestone for their family-operated business, noting that the venue is specifically engineered to serve a broad demographic, from corporate groups to families. The site will also feature a full-service restaurant, bar, and dedicated event spaces to support large-scale gatherings.
