Wyoming Integrates Chainlink to Automate FRNT Stablecoin Transparency
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has integrated Chainlink Proof of Reserve to publish near-real-time data on the state-issued Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). By moving reserve verification onchain, the commission aims to exceed federal disclosure standards, shifting from monthly reporting to a model of continuous, automated asset transparency.

The integration combines independent audits by The Network Firm with Chainlink’s data infrastructure. While the commission already publishes daily attestations, the new system provides an automated layer that allows market participants to access reserve balances directly on supported blockchains. The setup relies on verification data derived from reserve records, which are examined under American Institute of Certified Public Accountants standards.
Wyoming officials argue this approach surpasses the requirements of the federal GENIUS Act, which mandates monthly reporting for stablecoin issuers. By narrowing the gap between disclosures, the state seeks to mitigate risks associated with delayed financial reporting. However, the commission has yet to disclose specific update frequencies or the technical architecture governing the data feed.
Looking ahead, the commission plans to implement Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature. This protocol is intended to programmatically link reserve levels to token issuance, effectively blocking the creation of new FRNT tokens if verified reserves fall below the outstanding supply. While this "reserve-gated" system aims to prevent unbacked minting, its efficacy remains contingent on future implementation details, including emergency controls and administrator permissions. FRNT, which launched in January 2026 and is backed by dollars and U.S. Treasury securities, is currently accessible across eight major blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, and Base.
