MANGOAL Targets Factory-Fit Dash Cam Integration for Mainstream Vehicles

With over one million units sold globally, Shenzhen-based MANGOAL has carved a niche in the automotive electronics market by replacing bulky aftermarket dash cams with discreet, factory-fit hardware. The company leverages more than 900 custom molds to ensure its recording systems blend seamlessly into the existing interiors of mainstream vehicles.

MANGOAL Targets Factory-Fit Dash Cam Integration for Mainstream Vehicles

Since its 2022 launch, the brand has focused on eliminating the aesthetic clutter of traditional dash cams—cables dangling from windshields and obtrusive suction-cup mounts. By engineering housings that mirror the original trim around rearview mirrors and utilizing vehicle-specific wiring harnesses, MANGOAL aims to make its hardware feel like an extension of the car’s original design rather than an add-on.

This engineering-first approach relies on a foundation built by the parent company, Honglianda Technology, which has over a decade of experience in automotive electronics. Each unit undergoes an eight-hour aging test and rigorous quality control before shipping. The hardware itself often features Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, 4K resolution, and HDR capabilities to handle high-contrast environments like tunnels or nighttime roads. As founder Leo Wang notes, the goal is to provide safety technology that does not compromise the interior luxury or clean lines of a vehicle, even in premium models like the Lexus GX or Toyota Land Cruiser.

To mark its fourth anniversary, the company has designated September 15 as MANGOAL Brand Day. This annual event will serve as a platform for the firm to engage with its user base and showcase new developments in its expanding catalog of vehicle-specific recording solutions.
