Trove Introduces Collection Dividends to Reward Digital Asset Holders

Collectors on the digital platform Trove will now earn a minimum of 2% annually on their holdings, a program the company claims is an industry-first. Paid monthly in Trove Cash, these dividends allow users to accrue value from their assets without the typical requirements of staking or locking up ownership.

Trove Introduces Collection Dividends to Reward Digital Asset Holders

The initiative marks a shift from industry norms that prioritize the initial transaction over long-term ownership. By treating collections as appreciating assets, Trove aims to differentiate itself from competitors that focus exclusively on the mechanics of buying and selling. According to CEO Michael Katz, the current market landscape has largely ignored the post-purchase experience, leaving collectors without tangible benefits for maintaining their portfolios.

Founded in 2025, the platform bridges the gap between digital pack-opening experiences and physical asset ownership. All items, ranging from sports cards to Pokémon and One Piece collectibles, are stored in the PSA Vault. Users retain the flexibility to request physical delivery or utilize the company’s 100% buyback guarantee. This dividend model serves as the latest pillar in Trove’s strategy to integrate liquidity and utility into the collector lifecycle, moving beyond simple marketplace dynamics.
