Tencent Music Prices $1 Billion Senior Notes Offering
Tencent Music Entertainment Group is tapping international debt markets with a $1 billion senior unsecured notes offering. The Shenzhen-based company split the issuance into two tranches—$500 million due in 2031 and $500 million due in 2036—to bolster its balance sheet and refinance existing offshore obligations.
A syndicate of major financial institutions is managing the placement. J.P. Morgan Securities, Goldman Sachs (Asia), and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation are serving as joint bookrunners. They are supported by a group of joint lead managers including UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, Bank of China, and MUFG Securities Asia. Interested investors can access the prospectus and supplemental filings via the SEC’s EDGAR database or directly through the participating underwriters.
