The integration allows Tempo-based financial protocols to bypass the need for custom, independent oracle infrastructure. By leveraging Chainlink’s network of independent node operators, Tempo applications can pull verified market data to support complex workflows like foreign exchange comparisons and automated liquidation thresholds. According to Eric Kang, these feeds provide the necessary reliability for businesses to manage risk and value collateral across diverse tokenized assets.

Chainlink Brings Oracle Infrastructure to Tempo Blockchain
Tempo, the payments-focused layer-1 blockchain incubated by Stripe and Paradigm, integrated Chainlink Data Feeds on Sept. 3. This deployment provides developers with a standardized oracle network to import real-time market prices, enabling stablecoin applications to automate collateral valuation, treasury management, and cross-currency risk controls.

Tempo launched its mainnet in March 2026, focusing on stablecoin payments, payroll, and machine-to-machine transactions. The addition of Chainlink services follows the network's earlier integration of Morpho’s lending infrastructure, signaling a move toward more sophisticated decentralized credit markets. While developers can now access these feeds through Chainlink’s documentation, the companies have not disclosed which specific applications are currently utilizing the data. Meanwhile, LINK traded near $11.84, marking a 5.6% increase, though market analysts caution against attributing the price movement solely to this integration amid a broader sector rally.
