At IFA Berlin 2026, OlloBot is shifting the focus of embodied AI from task-oriented utility to emotional connection. OlloBot Unveils OlloNi SS1 at IFA Berlin to Redefine AI Companionship

While much of the robotics industry concentrates on humanoid assistants and productivity-focused machines, OlloBot aims to bridge the gap between intelligent software and physical interaction. Founder Lyn Fang emphasizes that the true challenge for the sector lies not in what a robot can perform, but in the nature of the relationships it can cultivate. The OlloNi SS1 is built around this philosophy, utilizing the proprietary EmpathCore emotional intelligence engine to interpret contextual signals and user interactions.

To ensure a refined user experience, the device incorporates an Affinilog interaction system and a Memory Heart Module, which allow the unit to retain personal preferences and evolve its engagement patterns over time. Although the company initially planned a crowdfunding campaign for late August, it has opted to delay the rollout. This decision underscores a commitment to long-term product readiness in response to shifting market and regulatory landscapes. Visitors at booth H1.2-174 can interact with the hardware firsthand through September 8, providing a glimpse into the brand's vision for robots designed for presence and warmth rather than simple labor.
