The organization, founded by Paul Newman in 1988, designed the site to serve three distinct audiences: camper families, donors, and volunteers. By prioritizing accessible navigation, the nonprofit hopes to better communicate the impact of its programs, which currently serve thousands of children facing serious illnesses annually at no cost.

Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Launches Interactive Digital Hub
Beyond the physical boundaries of its Connecticut and Maryland facilities, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is expanding its reach through a redesigned digital platform. The new website aims to streamline access to resources for families while introducing gamified elements to maintain connections with children undergoing treatment.

A central feature of the update is 'Camp Connect,' an interactive game that allows users to engage with the organization’s values through play. The game, which challenges users to combine bubbles to achieve high scores on a leaderboard, serves as a vital bridge for children currently in the Hospital Outreach Program. For those unable to visit a physical campus, the tool offers a digital touchpoint to the camaraderie and fun associated with the camp experience. Chief mission officer Padraig Barry noted that as the organization grows, its digital footprint must evolve to provide tailored experiences for its diverse community members.
