The company’s current focus centers on large-scale communities including DAMAC Lagoons, where approximately 6,300 homes are slated for handover. This project represents a significant jump from the 513 units delivered there in 2025. Infrastructure and landscaping at the site are now over 80 percent complete, featuring 177,000 square meters of water bodies. Beyond this, progress continues at DAMAC Hills, where 85 percent of the community is finished, alongside active handovers at Chic Tower and Elegance Tower.

DAMAC Hits 50,000 Home Milestone Amidst Dubai Construction Surge
With over 50,000 residential units now under its belt, Dubai-based DAMAC Properties is accelerating its delivery pipeline. The developer awarded USD 2.72 billion in construction contracts during the first half of 2026 alone, aiming to complete more than 8,800 homes by the end of the current year.

Managing Director Amira Sajwani noted that the ability to execute at scale remains the primary differentiator in Dubai’s maturing market. To maintain this momentum against global supply chain pressures, the firm has turned to early procurement and bulk sourcing strategies. Chief Project Officer Mohammad Tahaineh emphasized that as the company moves toward its next phase of 55,000 units in development, rigorous oversight of contractor performance and site productivity is required to mitigate risks. Market data supports the intensity of this expansion, with nearly 25,000 new homes completed across Dubai in the first half of 2026, marking a 36 percent increase over the previous year.
