As a spinout from the McMaster University-based Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization, AtomVie has spent over a decade building its technical footprint. The company currently supports more than 70 clinical programs and has successfully delivered over 4,400 cGMP doses across 28 countries.

AtomVie Opens North America’s Largest Radiopharmaceutical CDMO Facility
A $160 million investment has materialized in Hamilton, Ontario, as AtomVie Global Radiopharma officially opened its 72,300-square-foot manufacturing plant. The site, located at 10 Aeropark Boulevard, represents a tenfold increase in the company's production capacity, aiming to bridge the gap between clinical development and commercial-scale precision therapies.
CEO Bruno Paquin noted that the expansion serves as a critical milestone for Canadian innovation in nuclear medicine, providing the infrastructure necessary to scale partner pipelines reliably. With the site now operational, the organization is aggressively expanding its workforce, targeting a total headcount of more than 200 employees by the end of 2026. This scaling effort reflects a broader strategy to maintain a 99% delivery success rate while meeting the rising global demand for targeted cancer treatments.
