Mayfair Gold advances Fenn-Gib exploration and site infrastructure

Mayfair Gold Corp. has completed its 2026 summer exploration program at the Fenn-Gib project in Northern Ontario, successfully validating site infrastructure locations through extensive condemnation drilling while sharpening the geological model for future production.

Mayfair Gold advances Fenn-Gib exploration and site infrastructure

The company finalized 23 condemnation drill holes totaling 6,184 meters, confirming that the site layout proposed in the 2026 Pre-Feasibility Study remains optimal. This drilling phase ensures no adjustments are required for project infrastructure, a critical step toward the company's objective of starting construction by 2028.

Beyond infrastructure validation, the summer program mapped over 95% of known outcrops across the North and South blocks. Exploration teams collected 127 grab samples to refine the project's integrated 3D geological and multi-element geochemical models. According to Adree DeLazzer, Vice President of Exploration, these efforts have brought priority targets on the South Block to a drill-ready status for early 2027. The company is now leveraging these findings, alongside previous grade control data, to plan further infill drilling and expand the resource footprint of the 4.3 million-ounce gold deposit.
