Cye Establishes Dedicated Cybersecurity Hub for Private Equity Firms

Private equity firms face escalating pressure to secure high-value portfolios against sophisticated cyber threats that jeopardize deal valuations and operational integrity. In response, Israel-based Cye has launched a Center of Excellence designed to provide consistent, portfolio-wide oversight of cyber exposure throughout the entire investment lifecycle.

The new practice integrates Cye’s AI-native platform with expert-led services to shift cybersecurity from a reactive cost center to a measurable driver of enterprise value. By moving beyond traditional point-in-time assessments, the Center of Excellence enables firms to standardize security protocols across diverse holdings. This unified approach provides visibility into organizational risks from initial pre-deal scouting and due diligence through the crucial 90-day onboarding period and final exit readiness.

According to Cye CEO Reuven Aronashvili, the ability to quantify cyber exposure allows firms to better protect investments and potentially increase acquisition multiples. The platform identifies real-world exploitable attack paths, offering PE managers a centralized system to track maturity levels, prioritize resource allocation, and address critical gaps across their entire portfolio. This operational hub serves as a standardized engine for decision-making, ensuring that cybersecurity posture remains a transparent and defensible asset during transaction negotiations.
