PNC Launches Financial Wellness Program for Mid-to-Large Employers

Employees at companies with 100 or more staff can now access premium banking rewards and personalized financial coaching through PNC Workplace Advantage. The new program, announced in Pittsburgh, aims to bridge the gap between corporate benefit packages and the practical, day-to-day financial needs of a modern workforce.

PNC Launches Financial Wellness Program for Mid-to-Large Employers

The initiative integrates directly into existing employer benefits, providing staff with live seminars, digital educational resources, and flexible banking access. By opening a qualifying checking account and establishing direct deposit, employees are granted immediate entry into the PNC Total Rewards Silver Tier. This status, which typically requires a minimum of $25,000 in assets, offers enhanced benefits that the bank intends to position as a high-value recruitment and retention tool.

Kaley Keeley, head of Financial Wellness Solutions, noted that the program is designed to filter out unnecessary complexity in favor of tools that employees can utilize for immediate financial decisions. The rollout aligns with a broader push by the bank to provide a cohesive ecosystem of support, including health savings accounts and retirement services. Alina Crisi-Wetherell, head of Affiliated Banking, emphasized that organizations are increasingly seeking ways to demonstrate genuine commitment to their workforce's long-term stability without increasing administrative burdens for human resources departments.
