Girl Scouts to Launch Dog Treats and Allergy-Friendly Cookies

The Girl Scouts of the USA is expanding its 2027 cookie lineup to include four-legged companions and families with dietary restrictions. Starting January 12, the organization will debut Patch Pals, a blueberry muffin-flavored dog treat, alongside Sparkables, an allergy-friendly oatmeal cookie designed for those avoiding major food allergens.

Developed in collaboration with BARK and Partake, these new offerings will be available exclusively online for direct shipping during the 2027 cookie season. The initiative responds to requests from scouts nationwide who sought to make the program more inclusive and representative of their diverse communities.

Patch Pals, created with BARK, feature four unique designs inspired by iconic Girl Scout activities, while the Sparkables cookies are produced in a specialized facility to remain free of the nine major food allergens. These additions join the organization’s classic portfolio, which continues to fund local leadership development, community service, and STEM programs across the country.
