Frigade Launches Assist API to Give AI Agents Real-Time Product Insight

Software companies are increasingly deploying proprietary AI agents, yet these bots often struggle with outdated documentation and static knowledge bases. Frigade is now addressing this gap with its new Assist API, a tool that allows companies to plug deep, self-updating product intelligence directly into their own existing AI interfaces.

Frigade Launches Assist API to Give AI Agents Real-Time Product Insight

Rather than relying on manual help center updates, Frigade’s system learns by actively navigating a customer's software. Its browser-based agent logs into the product with standard user permissions, maps workflows, and builds a functional model of the interface. Because the platform repeats this process with every new software release, the agent’s knowledge remains synchronized with the live environment.

Companies can integrate the technology as a single tool call within their current AI stack. This allows an agent to move beyond merely linking to support articles; it can now trigger interactive, in-browser walkthroughs or guide a user through a specific workflow step-by-step. By routing all interactions through the company’s own agent, the interface remains unified and under the brand's direct control.

Beyond technical implementation, Frigade provides a management dashboard for customer experience teams to review and refine agent responses without needing engineering support. The API is framework-agnostic and compatible with tools like the Vercel AI SDK. For enterprise clients, the system supports self-hosting with proprietary LLM keys to ensure data security, meeting both SOC 2 Type II and GDPR standards.
