ZaiNar Joins Arm Total Design to Advance Robotic Location Awareness
Robots traditionally navigate by calculating their own position in isolation, a process that forces each machine to map its surroundings from scratch. By joining the Arm Total Design for Physical AI ecosystem, Belmont-based ZaiNar aims to replace this fragmented approach with a shared, network-side location intelligence platform.

"Robotics has spent a decade teaching every machine to figure out where it is, one machine at a time," said Daniel Jacker, CEO and co-founder of ZaiNar. The system delivers updates 100 to 500 times per second, significantly outpacing standard 5G positioning signals. This high-frequency data is designed to assist fast-moving autonomous machines in GPS-denied environments, including underground facilities and indoor spaces. By integrating its algorithms into Arm-based compute platforms, ZaiNar intends to provide a unified ground truth for industrial robotics, helping machines coordinate movements and learn from the collective history of their shared environment.
