The company reaffirmed its financial outlook and capital allocation plans originally detailed in the second-quarter 2026 earnings report. Stankey is expected to highlight the momentum behind this investment-led model, which saw the addition of over 1 million advanced connectivity subscribers—spanning fiber, fixed wireless, and postpaid phone segments—during a record-breaking second quarter.

Management maintains its commitment to returning over $45 billion to shareholders through 2028 via dividends and buybacks. This includes a target of approximately $10 billion in share repurchases for 2026 alone. While the firm navigates the competitive landscape, it projects a return to a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio in the 2.5x range within three years. Investors will be watching for updates on how the company plans to balance its fiber deployment costs with the goal of achieving stable free cash flow in the third quarter, followed by stronger growth in the final months of the year.
