By connecting enrollment signals and inventory movement directly to supply plans, the companies aim to transition clinical supply teams from reactive troubleshooting to automated, real-time forecasting. According to Nagaraja Srivatsan, CEO of Endpoint Clinical, the move addresses the growing complexity of trial execution by providing sponsors with more actionable intelligence.

Endpoint Clinical Acquires Supply Planning Specialist Bluefin
Endpoint Clinical, a global leader in randomization and trial supply management, has acquired Boston-based Bluefin to integrate advanced forecasting technology into its operations. The deal strengthens Endpoint’s reach into clinical supply chain planning while maintaining Bluefin’s status as an independent, platform-agnostic provider for pharmaceutical sponsors.

Bluefin will continue to function independently, ensuring its software remains compatible with various industry RTSM systems. Andy Maltun, Bluefin’s CEO, noted that the partnership provides the necessary resources to scale their planning platform, which is designed to reduce operational risk and lower costs. Mark A. Goldberg, Chairman of the Board at Endpoint and Operating Partner at Arsenal Capital Partners, described the acquisition as a strategic expansion that bolsters Endpoint's technology portfolio. Arsenal, which acquired Endpoint in 2024, continues to support the company’s push into AI-driven supply chain solutions.
