The Smartshot 2.0 suite aims to eliminate the high costs typically associated with high-end sports broadcasting and officiating. Its electronic line-calling system uses a six-camera array to render immediate, automated rulings, visible on large screens to resolve disputes without human intervention. By integrating AI-powered auto-directing and commentary, the company claims it can slash broadcasting expenses by hundreds of thousands of yuan.

Beyond officiating, the platform incorporates the Tongyi Qwen large language model to manage administrative tasks through an AI Tournament Assistant. This tool parses tournament regulations and handles scheduling in minutes. Complementing this, a voice-interactive smart ball machine adjusts speed and placement based on natural language instructions, creating personalized training loops for beginners. CTO Peng Wei emphasized that the company rejects expensive professional premiums, opting instead for a model that prioritizes cost-effective, inclusive accessibility.

Since its inception, the technology has reached over 500 courts, with recent expansions into Australia, Europe, and parts of East Asia. By offering these capabilities at one-tenth the cost of competing solutions, Orange Lion Sports intends to standardize smart equipment across global amateur circuits.
