Naviq Named Enterprise Innovator in Travel AI by HFS Research

London-based Naviq, a vertical AI firm launched by IBS Group in July 2026, has secured a Horizon 2: Enterprise Innovator designation from HFS Research. The firm, backed by a $500 million investment, is being recognized for its ability to transition travel companies from experimental AI projects to large-scale operational execution.

Naviq Named Enterprise Innovator in Travel AI by HFS Research

HFS Research identified Naviq’s specialized domain expertise and deep-rooted software heritage as the primary factors setting it apart from broader market competitors. The company currently manages a workforce of 2,000, focusing on aviation, hospitality, cruise lines, and airport operations. Melissa Fersht, Executive Research Leader at HFS, noted that the firm’s ability to pair decades of operational travel intellectual property with modern technical delivery creates a rare market advantage.

Evidence of this model is already surfacing in regional aviation markets. A European carrier utilized Naviq to consolidate over 45 separate applications, resulting in a 60% reduction in costs and a unified flight operations cloud environment. Simultaneously, an APAC airline leveraged the company to build an AWS-based Partner Integration Hub, successfully onboarding 500 partners and retiring legacy systems within a nine-month window. According to Naviq President Moizzur Rahman, the company’s objective remains the simplification of complex systems to turn disconnected infrastructure into platforms for accelerated growth.
