Air France to Open Record-Breaking 29,000-Square-Foot Lounge at JFK
Starting next year, Air France will consolidate its New York operations at JFK’s New Terminal One, anchoring the move with the largest lounge in its global network. Spanning 29,000 square feet across two levels, the facility represents a strategic push to elevate the premium transatlantic passenger experience.
Nicolas Henin, Senior Vice President of North America for Air France-KLM, described the investment as a milestone for the airline’s 80-year history in the New York market. For the airport, the lounge serves as a centerpiece of the $19 billion transformation of JFK. Jennifer Aument, CEO of New Terminal One, noted that the airline's commitment reinforces the terminal’s goal of achieving a top-tier Skytrax ranking. Air France currently operates up to six daily flights to JFK, with the new terminal infrastructure promising to integrate advanced technology and modern amenities into the carrier's broader transatlantic joint-venture network.
