The company’s strategy centers on a concept it calls Mixture of X Infrastructure (MoXI), which integrates diverse hardware, models, and network topologies into a unified data domain. CEO Ed Doe argues that traditional networking fails to support agentic AI, which requires constant, uninterrupted data flow. To address this, Delos Data introduced a new Data Interface and Reference Architecture designed to handle hundreds of thousands of devices while managing hardware and link failures in real-time.
The new hardware interface comes in three form factors: an I/O chiplet offering over 30 Tbps for GPUs, near-packaged optics providing 10 Tbps, and a 400 Gbps card for memory and CPU endpoints. CTO Dan Daly emphasized that by placing the interface directly between the endpoint and the network, the system can detect and recover from failures instantly, preventing the downtime that typically plagues multi-vendor AI clusters.
