Kazakhstan to Launch National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center

The National Bank of Kazakhstan is set to establish a dedicated center for monitoring digital asset transactions, integrating crypto-specific oversight into the country’s existing financial infrastructure. Chairman Timur Suleimenov announced that the hub will track fiat and crypto flows, wallet activity, and client data to tighten state regulation over digital assets.

Kazakhstan to Launch National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center

The new National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center will function as a specialized layer within the central bank’s SupTech platform. By merging blockchain analysis with the existing Anti-Fraud Center, the system aims to provide banks, law enforcement, and licensed providers with unified verification tools. The initiative aligns with a broader push to migrate users toward regulated platforms while suppressing unauthorized exchange activity.

This infrastructure builds on the central bank’s ongoing digitalization strategy, which aims to automate the full supervisory cycle by late 2026. The Anti-Fraud Center, already operational since August 2024, has expanded rapidly, connecting over 200 organizations to a centralized database that flags suspicious activity. By integrating cryptocurrency monitoring into this network, authorities intend to bridge the gap between traditional banking oversight and the digital asset economy. This move follows a sustained enforcement campaign that saw authorities block over 1,100 unlicensed platforms in 2025 alone, as the state continues to formalize its crypto-financial landscape.
