NOAA Taps ICEYE US for Satellite Radar Environmental Monitoring
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded ICEYE US a contract to integrate commercial Synthetic Aperture Radar imagery into its environmental monitoring operations. The agreement allows the agency to leverage the world’s largest radar satellite constellation for real-time observation of floods, sea ice, and disaster zones regardless of weather.
ICEYE US Chief Executive Officer Ann Stevens noted that the award establishes a long-term framework for integrating commercial intelligence into government workflows.
