Silicon Quantum Computing Hires Semiconductor Veteran John Hollister

Hollister assumed his new role on August 17, 2026, bringing a background that includes CFO positions at GlobalFoundries and Silicon Labs. His expertise spans capital formation, M&A, and investor relations—skills founder and CEO Michelle Simmons identified as vital for the company’s current expansion. Hollister will operate from the United States, managing the financial strategy required to support SQC's global growth trajectory.

This leadership addition follows the June 2026 hiring of Chief Legal Officer Karna Nisewaner, signaling a broader effort to professionalize the firm’s executive ranks. As SQC competes in Stage B of DARPA’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative, the company is leveraging its proprietary atomic-precision manufacturing to deploy quantum-enhanced AI and materials simulation chips to existing customers.
