At the second World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology put its proprietary bipedal and wheeled units to a rigorous test. By entering the 100-meter sprint and various jumping events, the firm sought to validate its gait algorithms and joint stability under high-speed industrial stress.

Zoomlion’s robots are no longer confined to test benches. The company has already deployed dozens of units across its own smart factories, where they manage tasks ranging from material sorting and cable-harness tying to precision component assembly and facility patrols. The bipedal Z01 utilizes imitation learning to handle complex, unstructured tasks, while the wheeled Z03 focuses on high-accuracy assembly, such as mirroring industrial equipment. These machines function within a feedback loop, drawing on performance metrics from over 300 intelligent production lines and 2,000 existing industrial robots to continuously improve their AI models.
