1911 Gold Corporation has reached key operational milestones at its True North gold project in Manitoba, completing critical underground dewatering and infrastructure rehabilitation. These efforts, supported by a new mining contractor, set the stage for test mining this fall ahead of a potential production decision in 2027.
Surface and underground facilities have seen significant upgrades to modernize the aging complex. The company installed rigid hard-duct ventilation on Level 16, a move that removes the need for legacy booster fans and improves airflow efficiency. Meanwhile, the mill and crushing circuit are undergoing heavy refurbishment, with new processing equipment from Westpro expected to arrive in early Q4. The company also commissioned an on-site assay laboratory to handle grade control and exploration samples, further streamlining the transition toward active production.
