Reseda Group Launches Bolt BaaS Platform for Credit Union Integration

East Lansing-based Reseda Group has officially introduced Bolt, a Banking-as-a-Service infrastructure designed to bridge the gap between fintech developers and established financial institutions. The platform debuts with TAPP Engine as its inaugural partner, utilizing the system to integrate cash management tools directly into MSU Federal Credit Union services.

Reseda Group Launches Bolt BaaS Platform for Credit Union Integration

Bolt provides a suite of APIs and SDKs intended to bypass the traditional regulatory hurdles that often stall fintech product launches. By positioning MSU Federal Credit Union as the Financial Institution of Record, the platform offers a governed framework for KYC and KYB processes, while delegating compliance and account monitoring to the credit union. This model allows developers to focus on user experience while maintaining the security standards required for deposit holding.

For TAPP Engine, the integration facilitates a white-labeled private banking experience. Clients can manage cash flows through a branded interface while their deposits remain backed by the institutional stability of a credit union. Ben Maxim, Chief Operating Officer at Reseda Group, noted that the platform aims to eliminate the friction that typically slows collaboration between technology innovators and legacy banking providers. The infrastructure supports a range of functions, including debit card issuance, payment processing, and external account connectivity, providing a scalable path for credit unions to expand their digital offerings without requiring a complete system overhaul.
