The deal bolsters Caelux's global footprint, bringing its total contracted manufacturing volume to 19 GW. By integrating Caelux’s proprietary Energy Producing Glass into its existing N-Type TOPCon technology, GREW Solar plans to upgrade its large-format G12R series. This plug-and-play approach allows the manufacturer to enhance output performance without requiring a complete overhaul of its heavy capital assets.
Vinay Thadani, CEO of GREW Solar, noted that the collaboration aligns with the Chiripal Group’s long-standing focus on technical innovation. The companies are currently targeting 2028 for the start of commercial production. This timeline is designed to ensure the new modules meet India’s Approved List of Module Manufacturers (ALMM) eligibility requirements and support the national "Make in India" initiative.
