The new Axiom vault requires a minimum contribution of 5 WBTC, an entry threshold currently valued at roughly $380,000. While the vault leverages blockchain infrastructure to streamline credit deployment, the underlying strategy relies on Two Prime’s established institutional lending operations. Assets are managed through a custody framework provided by ICE Digital Trust and Copper Technologies, ensuring that deposits are held by regulated entities rather than remaining solely within smart-contract environments.

Two Prime Debuts Bitcoin Yield Vault with $10M First-Loss Buffer
Two Prime has launched an institutional lending vault on the Pareto platform, targeting annual yields between 1.5% and 2% for Wrapped Bitcoin depositors. To mitigate initial credit risks for participants, the firm has committed approximately $10 million of its own capital as a first-loss layer to absorb potential borrower defaults.

Despite the institutional-grade custody and the firm's capital buffer, the targeted returns remain subject to market conditions, borrower performance, and the inherent risks of the wrapped token structure. Pareto, which currently tracks over $227 million in active private-credit loans, provides the on-chain rails for the product. This launch marks a shift for Two Prime, which has historically managed over $2.55 billion in bilateral, off-chain Bitcoin-backed credit facilities for clients ranging from public mining companies to diversified financial firms.
