Wix Investors Face September 22 Deadline in Securities Class Action

Investors who acquired Wix.com securities between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, have until September 22, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a federal class action lawsuit. The litigation targets alleged misrepresentations regarding the company’s artificial intelligence product performance and associated development costs.

Wix Investors Face September 22 Deadline in Securities Class Action

The complaint filed against Wix.com Ltd. alleges that executives misled shareholders by inflating the competitiveness of its AI offerings while failing to disclose the true scale of development and marketing expenses. According to the filing, the company’s public statements masked underlying financial weaknesses that were eventually revealed through a series of disappointing quarterly reports.

The stock price experienced significant volatility following these disclosures. In May 2025, shares dropped 16.18% after the company provided conservative revenue guidance. By November 2025, reports of rising costs linked to the Base44 acquisition triggered a 19.87% decline. The most substantial impact occurred on May 13, 2026, when the stock plummeted 27.1% after management admitted that the Wix Harmony platform lacked critical capabilities and that the company had lost ground to competitors in the professional developer market.

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, which is leading the investigation, invites affected investors to discuss their legal options and potential claims. Shareholders may choose to participate as a lead plaintiff, which involves overseeing the litigation on behalf of the class, or remain an absent member. Neither choice impacts an individual's eligibility for a potential recovery. Interested parties can contact partner Josh Wilson at 877-247-4292 or 212-983-9330 for further information.
