Gateway Commercial Finance Extends $1.25 Million Facility to Bakery
A Tampa-based commercial bakery has secured a $1.25 million invoice factoring facility from Gateway Commercial Finance to stabilize operations following a recent acquisition. The funding provides immediate liquidity against accounts receivable, allowing the manufacturer to maintain production and service its nationwide retail and online distribution channels during a complex corporate transition.

Marc J. Marin, managing director at the Delray Beach-based Gateway Commercial Finance, noted that the facility is designed to provide continuity during periods of operational upheaval. By converting outstanding invoices into cash, the bakery gains the flexibility to manage expenses and fulfill orders without the delays typically associated with traditional bank lending. Since 2007, Gateway has specialized in providing these liquidity solutions to businesses across the United States, often partnering with turnaround professionals to support companies in transition.
