U.S. Money Reserve Marks 25 Years of Precious Metals Leadership

Since its founding in 2001, U.S. Money Reserve has grown into a cornerstone of the private precious metals market, surpassing 1 million clients and $4.4 billion in total transactions. As the firm enters its 25th year, it is scaling its Austin headquarters to meet rising demand for physical asset diversification.

U.S. Money Reserve Marks 25 Years of Precious Metals Leadership

The company’s trajectory reflects broader shifts in how Americans approach long-term financial planning. Having shipped 5.1 million precious metals products over two and a half decades, the firm has moved beyond simple distribution to become a hub for educational resources and IRA-focused investment strategies. Philip N. Diehl, the company’s president and a former director of the U.S. Mint, attributes this endurance to the consistent role of metals during cycles of inflation and geopolitical instability.

To support its expanding footprint, the firm recently earned recognition as the top precious metals distributor by Equity Trust Company for 2024 and 2025, while also securing a Top Workplaces award in Austin. Despite this scale, leadership emphasizes that the core mission remains unchanged: integrating modern digital infrastructure with the specialized expertise of numismatic professionals. As the firm looks toward its next chapter, the focus remains on navigating the complexities of the modern market while maintaining the personalized service that defined its early years in the industry.
