Co-founder William Hockey confirmed the new infrastructure is already processing billions of dollars for major clients, including Ramp, Brex, Bilt, and Mercury. The platform allows for the instantaneous conversion of USDC and USDT into U.S. dollars, which can then be routed through domestic networks like FedNow or international channels such as SWIFT. By eliminating the need for intermediary providers, Column enables a seamless flow where a business can receive stablecoins, convert them to fiat, and distribute funds across different currencies and payment rails through a single API integration.

Column Debuts Integrated Platform for Stablecoin and Global Banking
Column has launched a suite of four financial infrastructure products designed to unify stablecoin, card issuing, and multicurrency banking. By integrating its own issuer processor directly into its banking stack, the company enables fintech firms to bypass fragmented vendor networks and execute cross-border transactions in seconds.

Beyond stablecoin interoperability, the rollout includes a proprietary card-issuing stack that supports both Visa and Mastercard programs. This infrastructure allows firms to manage stablecoin-backed cards alongside conventional debit and credit products using the same compliance tools. The expansion into global banking and multicurrency accounts further allows companies to issue local currency accounts to verified international customers, consolidating previously siloed financial operations into one unified system.
