I-care Group Acquires Amiral Technologies to Bolster Predictive AI

The deal brings Amiral’s deep-tech research and sales teams under the I-care umbrella, marking a strategic shift toward on-premises predictive maintenance. While I-care has long dominated the market with its I-see platform, the addition of DiagFit provides a critical technical edge: the ability to model normal equipment behavior and flag anomalies even when historical failure data is scarce. This capability is essential for sensitive environments where cloud dependency is often restricted by strict data-security protocols.

Fabrice Brion, CEO of I-care, noted that this move reflects a broader consolidation within the predictive maintenance market, where niche, high-performance technologies are increasingly absorbed into larger, multi-sensor reliability frameworks. The DiagFit software will be progressively folded into I-see, allowing I-care to leverage its existing global footprint to scale the technology across its operations in 16 countries. For Amiral Technologies, the merger offers a direct pipeline to a customer base spanning more than 55 nations, effectively transitioning their research-backed anomaly detection from a specialized tool into a standard industrial utility.
