Ericsson Continues Stock Repurchase Program With 500,000 New Shares

Between September 14 and September 18, 2026, Ericsson repurchased 500,000 of its own Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. The acquisition, executed by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, totaled 49.78 million SEK, with daily volumes held steady at 100,000 shares throughout the five-day period.

These transactions form part of a broader buyback initiative authorized for up to 15 billion SEK, running from April 2026 through March 2027. The company’s board intends to propose the cancellation of the acquired shares at the 2027 Annual General Meeting, excluding those earmarked for existing employee incentive programs. Following these latest acquisitions, the firm’s total treasury holdings have reached 108,018,663 Class B shares out of a total share pool of 3.37 billion.

The program remains compliant with European Market Abuse Regulations and the Safe Harbour framework. All trades were conducted at a weighted average price of 99.55 SEK per share, with daily valuations fluctuating between 9.8 million and 10.1 million SEK depending on market conditions.
