Beyond simple verification, the system integrates Equifax’s proprietary identity data to cross-reference applicant information, a move intended to bolster fraud detection during the hiring cycle. Bart Lautenbach, senior vice president at Equifax Workforce Solutions, noted that reducing administrative friction is critical for facilities struggling to meet high demand for clinical talent. This report joins a broader suite of pre-hire screening tools offered by the company, including existing modules for education, employment, and criminal background checks.
