TIER IV brings autonomous driving tech to Tokyo students at Miraikan
On September 26, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo will transform into a laboratory for the next generation of engineers. TIER IV is partnering with Tamiya, Macnica, and zero to one to host an immersive event, allowing local students to engage directly with autonomous driving systems.
This initiative serves as a practical extension of TIER IV’s ongoing work at Miraikan, where the company maintains a permanent research base to develop its open-source Autoware software. By moving these tools out of the development lab and into the hands of junior and senior high school students, organizers hope to foster a broader public dialogue on how society should integrate and regulate emerging mobility technologies.
