The collaboration leverages Wego’s platform to highlight Abu Dhabi’s specific mix of cultural landmarks and leisure offerings. Marketing efforts will focus on driving traffic to bookings for sites ranging from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Louvre Abu Dhabi to the natural landscapes of the Al Ain region and the entertainment hubs on Yas Island.

Mamoun Hmidan, Chief Business Officer at Wego, noted that the initiative integrates market intelligence with the company’s reach to turn traveler inspiration into confirmed itineraries. For the Department of Culture and Tourism, the move is a strategic attempt to capture the rising demand for short-haul, culturally immersive travel. Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, emphasized that the partnership aligns with the emirate’s goal of showcasing its infrastructure and events calendar to a highly engaged audience throughout the Middle East.
