The launch marks a significant shift for the issuer, which previously focused on European currencies including the euro, Swiss franc, and Swedish krona. Issued by AllUnity’s BaFin-licensed electronic money institution, USDAU is fully backed by dollar reserves and redeemable at a 1:1 parity for institutional clients. The token is currently live on Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tempo, Arc, and Polygon.

AllUnity Expands MiCA-Compliant Stablecoins With Dollar-Backed USDAU
Frankfurt-based AllUnity has launched USDAU, a US dollar-backed stablecoin available across six blockchain networks. Regulated under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) framework, the token allows institutional clients to conduct cross-border settlements and foreign exchange through the company’s existing business infrastructure.

Alongside the token, AllUnity introduced Instant FX, a service integrated into its Business Mint Account designed to streamline cross-currency settlements. By consolidating multiple fiat corridors into a single platform, the company aims to bypass the fragmentation often associated with traditional stablecoin liquidity. Banking Circle will manage the underlying reserve and transaction banking, while Flowdesk serves as the primary liquidity provider. Additional partners, including Archax and BitGo, facilitate direct minting and redemption for institutional users seeking to integrate the asset into their treasury operations.
