Austin Trail of Lights Returns to Zilker Park for 62nd Year
Spanning over two million lights and seventy festive displays, the 62nd Austin Trail of Lights returns to Zilker Park from December 10 through December 23. This long-standing holiday tradition, supported by H-E-B, offers seven nights of free general admission to ensure accessibility for the local community.
Heidi Post, Senior Director of Public Affairs at H-E-B, noted that the partnership with the Trail of Lights Foundation remains focused on preserving the event for Central Texans. Beyond the standard displays, visitors can opt for premium experiences, including ZIP passes starting at $20 and Platinum passes from $95, which provide amenities like valet parking and lounge access. Proceeds from these tiers sustain the nonprofit's operational costs and the STARS at the Trail program, which hosts tailored experiences for local charitable organizations. The season kicks off early with a Preview Party on December 4 and the Raising Cane’s Fun Run on December 5.
