Hyperliquid Perpetual Prices Reach Bloomberg Terminal

Professional traders using Bloomberg Terminals can now monitor Hyperliquid perpetual contract prices in real-time. By entering the command WSL HYPE , institutional users gain access to a continuous data stream covering assets ranging from cryptocurrencies and equities to commodities, integrating decentralized market data into traditional financial monitoring workflows.

The integration provides a window into Hyperliquid’s expanding ecosystem, which saw open interest exceed $18 billion in September. While the move marks a significant step toward institutional visibility, the connection remains strictly limited to market data. Professional desks can now compare decentralized price references against traditional benchmarks like Bitcoin, Nvidia, or Brent crude, but the Terminal does not currently support direct trade execution on the Hyperliquid platform.

Hyperliquid’s activity has increasingly shifted toward non-crypto assets through its HIP 3 framework, allowing independent deployers to launch perpetual contracts tied to diverse instruments. This infrastructure permits continuous trading of assets that typically operate within fixed market hours. As these volumes grow, the platform has sought closer alignment with established financial systems, including recent proposals to the SEC and CFTC for regulating equity perpetuals. While firms like DoubleZero and Kraken’s parent company, Payward, pursue separate initiatives for data feeds and regulated trading, the Bloomberg function serves to bring decentralized pricing directly into the established institutional monitoring environment.
