The acquisition marks a significant shift for the Cincinnati-based firm, which currently manages a diverse portfolio ranging from paper products to complex plastic tubing. Monadnock Non-Wovens brings over 25 years of technical expertise, including proprietary fiber production equipment and a versatile suite of meltblown and hydro-charging lines. The manufacturer will retain its established brand identity, with James Cree continuing in his role as president to oversee operations and ongoing material innovation.

Tom Moore, CEO of Precision Products Group, emphasized that the partnership aims to leverage PPG’s capital and operational resources to scale Monadnock’s existing infrastructure. By investing in new equipment and process optimization, the parent company intends to accelerate the development of high-performance acoustic and filtration media. Auxo Investment Partners, the private equity firm backing PPG, identified the move as a strategic expansion intended to preserve the legacy of the Verney family’s business while fueling its long-term competitive capacity.
