Taipei-based KONST Secures $30 Million to Expand Asian AI Infrastructure

Taipei-based AI compute operator KONST has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round led by ADATA Technology. The capital infusion is earmarked for expanding the company’s AI data center footprint across Asia and accelerating its Token Factory strategy, which aims to transition enterprise AI from experimental pilots to core infrastructure.

The funding round includes strategic participation from M Mobility, Pegatron Venture Capital, and various corporate groups specializing in memory, energy, and semiconductor manufacturing. According to Ben Chang, co-founder and chairman of KONST, the value of this investment lies in the operational synergy with these partners, who represent the demand side of the enterprise AI market. Chang emphasizes that successful AI adoption requires moving beyond one-time project expenses toward a model where computing power functions as reliable, daily utility infrastructure.

KONST operates through a three-layer framework designed to streamline this transition. At the foundation, Konstra AI manages the construction and maintenance of data center facilities and GPU clusters. The middle layer, Glows.ai, provides cloud-based compute resources with per-second billing to accommodate variable usage patterns. The final layer, Horizon AI, utilizes the (k) ATP Token to govern model access and budget management. This governance platform allows large organizations to consolidate usage tracking, permissions, and billing under a single contract, effectively bridging the gap between hardware procurement and scalable enterprise deployment.
