DoubleZero adds Binance to Edge platform to democratize market data

The fastest path for market data should not be reserved for elite firms, according to DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa. By adding Binance to the Edge platform, the firm aims to dismantle the private, high-cost barriers that historically allowed professional trading outfits to outpace individual market participants.

DoubleZero adds Binance to Edge platform to democratize market data

Binance is the fifth venue to join the Edge market-data platform, following Solana, Kalshi, Hyperliquid, and Phoenix. The integration allows subscribers to access top-of-book information and trade records via a dedicated fiber network, which bypasses the inconsistencies of the public internet. Federa contends that by standardizing data delivery, the platform creates a more competitive environment where tighter spreads benefit all participants rather than just those with exclusive access to premium infrastructure.

Subscribers connect their cryptographic identity to DoubleZero’s network, receiving data in a unified format that eliminates the need for venue-specific translation. While the service remains a paid subscription, Federa argues that the ability for any user to purchase access addresses the growing imbalance between high-frequency professional traders and standard market participants. The platform does not execute trades itself; it acts as a high-speed distribution layer for first-party data published by exchanges. Since its April launch, the service has recorded over 2,000 user connections, signaling a demand for more accessible, low-latency market infrastructure.
