UK Crypto Trader Reports $800,000 Theft in Armed Home Invasion
A cryptocurrency trader known as @rrealist reported being held at knifepoint in his UK home by three masked intruders who forced him to drain his digital wallets. The assailants escaped with an estimated $800,000 in assets and a Rolex, leaving the victim bruised and in shock after the violent ordeal.

This incident adds to a growing trend of physical attacks against digital asset holders. Data from Chainalysis indicates that successful physical robberies targeting crypto owners resulted in over $30 million in losses during the first half of 2026. Home invasions, in particular, have surged, accounting for 37% of such crimes this year compared to just 14% in 2025. While the victim shared a blockchain address he claims contains the stolen funds, authorities have yet to independently verify the details of the theft or identify the perpetrators.
