Binance bStocks Hit $1 Billion AUM Milestone in Record Time

Binance’s tokenized equity product, bStocks, has reached $1 billion in assets under management just four months after its June 2026 launch. This rapid growth marks the fastest ascent for any tokenized equity offering to date, signaling a shift in how investors bridge traditional securities with on-chain utility.

The product, which offers 1:1 tokenized representations of U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, has generated over $40 billion in cumulative trading volume since inception. According to data from Dune Research, the platform now lists nearly 100 different assets, a significant expansion from the five available at launch. Beyond simple trading, users have converted $6 billion between direct stock positions and bStocks, utilizing the tokens for 24/7 market access that operates outside of conventional U.S. market hours.

Shunyet Jan, Head of Exchange and Trading at Binance, noted that the product's success stems from its practical application rather than speculative interest. Investors are increasingly deploying these tokens within decentralized finance protocols and using them as collateral for margin and futures positions. By September 10, outstanding borrowing against bStocks collateral climbed to 46.2%, up from 5.5% at the end of June. This trend highlights a growing preference for assets that function simultaneously as market exposure and capital-efficient margin tools, pushing tokenized equities to become the fastest-growing real-world asset category of 2026.
