POLYWOOD Expands Outdoor Furniture Line with Westgrove Pergola Collection

Syracuse-based manufacturer POLYWOOD is moving beyond seating and tables to anchor residential backyards with its new Westgrove Pergola collection. The structures, designed to function as permanent architectural extensions of the home, aim to bridge the gap between indoor comfort and outdoor exposure using the company’s signature all-weather material engineering.

POLYWOOD Expands Outdoor Furniture Line with Westgrove Pergola Collection

The Westgrove line introduces two sizes—8' x 12' and 12' x 12'—constructed from the brand’s proprietary High-Density Polyethylene lumber. By utilizing ClimateTuff materials, the company intends to offer a low-maintenance alternative to traditional wood structures, which typically require frequent staining or sealing. CEO Brady Maller noted that the expansion responds to a shift in consumer demand for functional, year-round outdoor rooms that mirror the utility of interior living spaces.

Functionality remains a priority for the design, which supports hanging accessories up to 30 pounds or porch swings with a weight capacity of 800 pounds. While the pergolas are compatible with hard flat surfaces, pavers, or footings, the manufacturer specifies they are not suitable for direct soil or grass installation. Prices for the units begin at $8,999, with the company offering optional white-glove installation services to manage assembly. Each purchase is covered by a 20-year residential warranty, consistent with the firm's long-standing focus on durability in the outdoor furniture market.
