The new interface functions as a software bridge that transmits signed trading instructions directly to Hyperliquid. While Pump.fun facilitates the connection, its updated terms clarify that the platform does not act as a counterparty to these trades. Beyond the primary 0.10% builder fee applied to opening or closing positions, users face an additional 0.25% charge for asset transfers through the platform’s bridge, distinct from Hyperliquid’s native protocol costs.

Pump.fun Launches Hyperliquid Futures with Tiered Fee Structure
Pump.fun has integrated Hyperliquid’s infrastructure to launch a perpetual futures trading interface, imposing builder fees of up to 0.10% per order. The service, which officially excludes users located in the United States and Ontario, relies on Hyperliquid to handle margin, liquidations, and settlement of all leveraged positions.

This rollout follows a period of data discovery regarding the platform's trading capabilities, with earlier reports indicating maximum leverage thresholds of 40x for Bitcoin and 25x for Ether. Although the platform now displays a dedicated perpetuals section, Pump.fun remains distinct from external efforts to bring regulated energy-related derivatives to the U.S. market. Hyperliquid continues to operate its own ecosystem independently, having previously established a significant revenue footprint alongside Pump.fun’s Solana-based launchpad activity.
