Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge as Ethereum Fund Data Splits

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs captured $470.15 million in net inflows according to Lookonchain’s October 22 update, yet discrepancies emerge regarding Ethereum products. While Bitcoin funds continue to see concentrated buying from BlackRock and Fidelity, Ethereum data shows a sharp divergence between daily reports from industry trackers.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge as Ethereum Fund Data Splits

Lookonchain’s latest snapshot reports 5,766 BTC entering the market, with BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC driving 92% of that daily intake. This momentum contrasts with Ethereum funds, where a reported withdrawal of 4,422 ETH—valued at $10.63 million—marks a continued period of volatility. The data indicates that BlackRock’s ETHA is the primary source of these outflows, accounting for approximately 93% of the total net reduction over the past seven days.

Market observers note significant variance between these figures and data from Farside Investors. While Lookonchain tracks a daily withdrawal for Ethereum funds, Farside’s records for the session ending October 21 suggest a positive net inflow of $14.9 million. Similarly, Farside reports $524.8 million in Bitcoin inflows for the same period, highlighting the difficulty in reconciling snapshots that utilize different reporting windows and methodologies. As these funds navigate shifting sentiment, the total holdings across all tracked Bitcoin products have reached 1,284,312 BTC, while Ethereum funds maintain a balance of 5,687,881 ETH.
